RealSoft begins implementing comprehensive economic survey for free zones

The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones in Oman has commenced the implementation of a comprehensive economic survey for all registered establishments in the areas under its jurisdiction. The authority has chosen the statistical survey platform “Al-Khwarizmi” from RealSoft Advanced Applications, in collaboration with SmartSoft.
The project aims to collect data to calculate various economic indicators using best statistical practices. It also seeks to prepare indices and studies on the contribution of the regions to the Gross Domestic Product (both oil and non-oil), and provide data on value-added, local content, and the volume of direct and indirect foreign investment in each region.
For the comprehensive survey, six statistical forms have been developed to collect data from various record and field sources, utilizing multiple digital channels. The secure smart forms are designed to achieve the highest levels of quality and privacy.
