RealSoft receives acknowledgments for its contribution in the First GCC Statistical Forum

RealSoft Advanced Applications received acknowledgment and appreciation for contributing and enriching the “First GCC Statistical Forum” with its expertise in statistical technologies.

The company participated in the forum that was held for the first time in Riyadh under the title "Strengthening statistical partnerships to support economic policies and sustainable development in the GCC countries". The forum was inaugurated by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Eng. Adel Bin Mohammed Fakieh on Monday, 20th of March 2017 on behalf of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The forum continued for two days, and included 4 main sessions and 7 workshops during which, 40 international and Gulf speakers discussed ways for enhancing statistical partnerships to support economic policies and development in the light of 3 plenaries:

  • The demand for statistics “The international and national perspective”.
  • The production and dissemination of statistics “Strategic drivers in national statistical systems”
  • Enhancing statistical partnerships between data users and producers to support economic policies and sustainable development in the GCC region.

RealSoft participated in the seventh workshop entitled “Modern Technical Solutions for the Demand and Supply of Statistics (Models and Practices)”. The workshop included three main axes, where Mr. Mansour Al-Damas, General Manager of IT Infrastructure, Mr. Ahmad Mansour, Program Consultant at Deloitte, Eng. Abdullah Sahab, the Chief Operating Officer of International Telecommunications Co. Ltd. the National Statistical Data Program in Saudi Arabia and Visual Analysis Implementations in Statistics, and RealSoft representative Mr. Mahmoud Mutawa, the Technical Manager. 

Mr. Mahmoud, presented the company's expertise in implementing the SDMX platform, where he analyzed the problem in exchanging statistical data at national level, and provided a description of the current situation and challenges facing countries and institutions in this area. He concluded by providing an overview of the proposed methodology and benefits of the proposed solution.
