Launch of the Economic Survey in the Emirate of Sharjah

The Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development has commenced data collection for the Economic Survey in the emirate, leveraging the latest technological solutions provided by RealSoft Advanced Applications. The survey will continue over a period of four months. During this time, a sample of economic establishments operating in Sharjah will be targeted.

The Economic Survey is a fundamental tool for analyzing economic activity and providing accurate data to assist governments and institutions in making informed economic decisions and developing policies to achieve growth and economic balance. This, in turn, fosters economic development and enhances social well-being. The survey also offers valuable data for researchers and analysts to conduct economic studies.

This project includes a comprehensive system of annual and quarterly surveys, organized through various specialized systems and programs that collect data using three methods: self-reporting, fieldwork, and a call center. Additionally, several other systems are used for managing field operations, ensuring quality control, and encoding data, along with a reporting and outputs system.

It is worth mentioning that all the systems and programs used in this survey were developed using the latest technological solutions provided by RealSoft Advanced Applications. These systems were designed and built based on Al-Khwarizmi platform for statistical surveys, which is an advanced and leading platform in designing and building statistical surveys, regardless of their complexity, without the need for programming efforts (Low Code – No Code). Al-Khwarizmi is currently used by many statistical centers, offering efficient and flexible management that allows users to create and develop all types of surveys, censuses, and polls. This ensures ease of use, quick extraction of results, and guarantees the quality and accuracy of statistical data.
