Ministry of Local Administration Launches 19 New E-Services Developed by RealSoft
His Excellency the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hanandah, and Dr. Nidal Abu Orabi, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Local Administration, commenced the first and second phases of the electronic services for the Ministry of Local Administration starting from the municipalities of Irbid and Jerash. This took place during the press conference held on 11/7/2023, and these services will be extended to all municipalities in the kingdom.
RealSoft has developed nineteen diverse services that constitute the first and second phases of municipal services digitization within a four-stage project implemented by the Ministry of Digital Economy through RealSoft for the Ministry of Local Administration.
The first and second phases of services by the Ministry of Local Administration included buildings, construction, public services, insurance, traffic, and others. The ministry is now planning to launch many other services during this year, 2023.
RealSoft, along with other local software providers, is contributing to the implementation of the e-Government program sponsored by the Ministry of National Economy. The program has made significant progress so far, and it is one of the main pillars of digital transformation, public sector development, and improving services provided to citizens, residents, and investors.
Minister of Digital Economy Dr. Ahmed Al-Hanandah has expressed his gratitude to RealSoft for its partnership in the implementation of aspects of the digital transformation program. His Excellency emphasized the ministry’s role in improving the level of services provided to citizens through modern technologies. Dr. Abu Orabi highlighted the substantial role of municipal services in improving the citizens’ lives and announced the launch of more electronic services in various municipalities of the kingdom.
The conference was also attended by His Excellency the Jerash Governor, Firas Faour, the Chairman of Jerash Governorate Council, Raed Otoom, and the Mayor of Jerash, Ahmad Hashem Otoom.
