Qatar Launches Consultancy Phase for Central Database in Collaboration with RealSoft and Deloitte
In a collaboration between RealSoft Advanced Applications and Deloitte, Qatar launches the consultancy phase for building a central database. Following a call from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during the opening of the fifty-second session of the Shura Council held on October 24, 2023, to the necessity of establishing an integrated central database that efficiently meets the national data needs with a high degree of reliability, the Planning and Statistics Authority in Qatar took the initiative to implement the consultancy phase for building the desired database to serve decision-making in various institutions and to measure the performance of initiatives and projects coming from Qatar’s Vision 2030.
To achieve this goal, the Planning and Statistics Authority signed an agreement to carry out technical consultations with the leading companies RealSoft and Deloitte in this field of projects. RealSoft will provide technical consultations on the best global practices to be considered when building the central database.
RealSoft had previously conducted a comprehensive consultancy study with Deloitte on statistical databases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in RealSoft’s implementation of this pioneering project, which resulted in the construction and operation of the national statistical databases and portals for the Kingdom.
