RealSoft Announces the Successful Implementation of a Comprehensive Electronic System in the 2024 Jordanian Parliamentary Elections
RealSoft proudly presents innovative and efficient solutions that enhance transparency and accuracy in the electoral process. RealSoft takes great pride in its ongoing partnership with the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and is delighted to be part of this major success in Jordan. This collaboration has successfully delivered advanced and effective technological solutions for the 2024 Jordanian parliamentary elections.
A comprehensive electronic system was developed to cover all phases of the electoral process, from voting and counting to the announcement of results and winners. The system included an application to facilitate the voting and counting process across all polling centers in Jordan through a comprehensive electronic network designed for this purpose. There were 1,649 polling centers across the country, with 5,843 ballot boxes serving 5,080,858 registered voters.
The system also employed Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to display data related to polling and counting centers. Additionally, RealSoft developed applications to calculate results and generate reports, in full compliance with the Parliamentary Election Law No. 4 of 2022. An interactive data presentation was also developed to provide users with visual data insights, aiding in better decision-making. The use of barcode scanners allowed for fast and highly accurate vote counting.
The parliamentary elections were successfully and smoothly conducted, resulting for the first time in the immediate online publication of results, directly uploaded to a dedicated cloud platform right after the vote count was completed.
