RealSoft Participates in the Launch of a Weather Data Management Software System

As part of RealSoft’s achievements and digital solutions, Eng. Ammar AlSajdi, the company’s general manager, participated in the launch ceremony for the “Weather Data System” project organized by the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
According to the (JMD), on behalf of the Minister of Transport, Eng. Wissam Al-Tahtamouni, the Director of the Jordan Meteorological Department, Raed Al-Khatib, launched the Weather Data System project today, Monday, in the presence of the General Manager of RealSoft, who is responsible for implementing this project, Eng. Ammar AlSajdi, along with several employees from the department and RealSoft.
Raed Al-Khatib stated that this system would enable the Meteorological Department to automate processes related to the collection and analysis of observational data. This advancement will enhance the department’s ability to predict weather conditions and issue early warnings. Additionally, it will provide advanced climate services to various sectors of society by gathering and analyzing data from all-weather monitoring stations across Jordan. The system will contribute to providing reliable information to citizens and institutions, supporting various sectors in planning and making informed decisions.
On his part, AlSajdi, gave an overview of the system’s operations and the efforts exerted by the company in collaboration with the JMD to ensure the system’s success.
Visual presentations were also provided by the technical directorates affiliated with the department, which rely on the system. These presentations highlighted the qualitative shift in meteorological operations and data quality control through this system, as well as the financial savings and speed of execution that will result from using the system.
