With RealSoft Solutions – Jordan Launches First National Food Security Management Information System

The Food Security Council, in collaboration with the Department of Statistics and the World Food Program, has officially launched Jordan’s first National Food Security Management Information System.

This system aims to enhance national capabilities in monitoring progress toward food security and sustainable development goals, providing critical data to inform food security decision-making in Jordan. The system will enable government institutions and their partners to track food inventory, forecast food supply conditions, and ensure rapid resource distribution, contributing to improved access to nutritious food across Jordan.

During the launch event, RealSoft Advanced Applications presented a technical overview of the system’s features, alongside a visual demonstration that received positive feedback from attendees. It is worth noting that RealSoft provided the technological support for this project, integrating EDataPub and Data Portal products developed by the company.

The EDataPub system facilitates communication across various entities and sources, serving as a data exchange channel between providers and data owners, with regular data review before final approval for analysis and publication to end-users. Meanwhile, the Data Portal system offers analytical and reporting tools to display data collected from various sources in an intermediary database, preparing it for publication and analysis. It is distinguished by a robust dynamic search engine, supported by flexible categorization to facilitate data accessibility.
